Abstract
We report the case of a subject suffering from a progressive dementia with complex visual impairment. A prevalently posterior cortical atrophy was shown at MRI and both SPECT and PET showed a severe impairment of left temporal-occipital area. These findings are consistent with the clinical definition of progressive posterior cerebral dysfunction (PPCD).
