Abstract

Basic modal testing principles were employed to assess the dynamic behavior of fluid filled catheter in invasive pressure measurements. Pressure frequency response functions (PFRFs) were gathered and used to get estimates of the catheter's modal parameters. Preliminary results indicate that the modal approach has good chances to properly correct pressure distortions.
