Use of a topical nanosilicon product for the treatment of atopic dermatitis in pediatric age

Abstract

This study evaluates tolerability and efficacy of a nanosilicon-based spray formula in 34 patients with mild and/or moderate atopic dermatitis. A marked improvement of the symptoms was achieved in 85% of cases, and an unremarkable one in 15% of cases. The product was always well tolerated and never caused side effects.
