Abstract

The role of unselected population screening for epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) represents one of the most discussed issued in Gynecologic Oncology. The progressive reduction of the gross national product allotted to financing health interventions during the last decades has increased the attention to NHSs to cost-effectiveness analyses. As far as EOC screening is concerned, all epidemiological data seem to indicate that this disease is not suitable for screening.
