Abstract
The embolization of hypogastric arteries by the angiographic catheter caused a complete and lasting stoppage of bleeding in 2 cases of intractable vesical hemorrhage. Indications and technique of pelvic embolization are discussed. According to the authors this method provides better results in a highly progressed neoplasm in patients in a poor condition, in whom hemostatic surgery is a serious hazard.
