Abstract

the synthesis of the phosphatidylinositol (PI) analogue (±)-octadecylphosphodithionyl-1-myo-inositol is described. The cytotoxic activity on K562 erythroleukaemic cells and the effect on the activity of PI specific phospholipase C (PI-PLC) from human platelets are reported.
