Abstract
We describe the clinical and evolutive features of partial epilepsies (PE) associated with secondary bilateral synchrony (SBS) on EEG. 41 out of 176 PE patients showed SBS. Unfavourable outcome was found in 76% of pts. with SBS and in 18% of pts. without SBS (p <0.0001). SBS is therefore a negative EEG prognostic factor.
