Abstract
Post-burn deformities of the head and neck region in the child are examined in relation to the different anatomical structures concerned. The need for early treatment to prevent and correct scar contractures on growing tissues is underlined. The Authors describe new opportunities offered by tissue expansion and the indispensable ancillary procedures such as physiotherapy, compression, etc., necessary to guarantee success of the surgical treatment.
