Abstract
Catheter-based intervention in saphenous vein aorto-coronary bypass is an established approach. Even if effective, this treatment can be associated with a high incidence of procedurerelated complications, mainly because of distal embolization of atherosclerotic plaque. Both occlusion devices and filter-based protection devices have offered comparable results. In the case described below, two different lesions were treated in the same saphenous vein graft using a filter-based device for the proximal lesion and a proximal occlusion balloon for the distal one.
