Abstract
Macrolide antibiotics usually reach high concentrations in bronchial secretions. Roxithromycin shows higher serum levels and a longer half-life in comparison with the older macrolides. The aim of the present study was to investigate the penetration of roxithromycin into bronchial secretions.
