Abstract
The authors have used a new contrast medium, iopamidol in 46 cervical and dorsal myelographies and 7 sacculoradiculographies. The product was administered by lumbar or cervical puncture and was well tolerated. They have also combined conventional radiography with transverse axial tomography (TAT), using the Kermath polyvalent tomograph. Results were satisfactory. The contrast medium gave excellent images, and axial sections provided precise information on anatomical correlations between lesions, cord and spine.
