Abstract

We conducted a study of migraine patients under prophylactic therapy to analyse the prognostic significance of some clinical parameters at initial examination. Cases with a duration of illness under 10 years, males and greatest frequency of attacks were correlated with a better outcome. Age at onset and family history of headache had no prognostic value.
