Abstract
In this study the authors trace a psychological and social profile of the psoriatic patient. The following psychodiagnostic tests were performed on 20 subjects suffering from psoriasis: questionnaire on psycho-social history, Minnesota multiphase personality inventory (MMPI), Cattell questionnaire on 16 personality factors (16PF Test), anxiety evaluation scale (ASQ), depression evaluation scale (CDQ). The analysis of the results shows the existence of psychological problems in the examined patients, such as pathological anxiety levels, depression, hypochondria, and obsessive phobic disorders.
