Abstract
We report here on a new case of IgD myeloma which showed at presentation several striking features: young age, circulating plasma cells, low level of M-component and λ-type light chain proteinuria; surprisingly, although the massive bone marrow replacement by plasma cells, the high level of Bence Jones proteinuria and the plasma cell leukemia denoted a large tumor mass, neither anemia, nor renal failure, nor osteolytic lesions were detected.
