Abstract

□ Foreign bodies ingestion is a common problem in children and it usually has positive outcome. In spite of that, its appropriate management requires a dedicated pediatric setting, where a wide range of scopes and accessories can be available, and potential severe complications can be managed appropriately. Button batteries and magnets could effect dramatic clinical scenarios and both require aggressive clinical protocol to avoid complications.
