Abstract

Fine needle aspiration of breast diseases: evaluation of 1027 fine cases needle aspiration of 1027 cases of breast pathology showed high sensibility (93%) and specificity (92%) with a low percent of inadequate samples caused mainly by breast fibrocystic diseases. High power observation allows a good analysis of atypical cell changes in the Author's experience the technique has a proper place in a diagnostic program of breast diseases.
