Abstract
Esophageal stenosis is a benign disease in the pediatric age. Endoscopic dilation is the treatment of choice mostly for caustic and anastomotic strictures. Steroids injection and, more recently, stent placement are techniques used in severe strictures even with positive promising results in children.
