Abstract
Down Syndrome is the most frequent chromosomopathy associated with mental retardation; epileptic seizures are rarely reported and have a better prognosis in comparison with other syndromes with mental retardation. We reviewed literature about epilepsy and Down Syndrome and describe two patients with a severe epilepsy.
