N2 - In 2 groups of 6 normal subjects each, the authors have investigated the effects of oral administration of a gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) derivative, baclofen [β-(4-chlorophenyl)-gamma aminobutyric acid, Lioresal, Ciba-Geigy] on growth hormone (GH) and prolactin (PRL) secretion in response to insulin hypoglycemia and arginine infusion, respectively.
