Abstract
In literature the cognitive and the affective development of Turner syndrome subjects were studied through interviews, intelligence and projective tests. The findings of the research on intelligence have demonstrated that the subjects present an intelligence development comprised in middle value with same gap in numerical and spatial abilities. Their personality presents some inhibition problems, anxiety and body dissatisfaction, but doesn't show any particular psychopathological trait. Anorexia nervosa is a potential complication of gonadal dysgenesis, stemming not only from the biological and psychological confusion inherent in it, but also from its investigation and treatment. Identification of behavioural characteristics of this specific condition is essential to guide counselling and intervention provided by health professionals.
