Abstract

In patients with SLE dsDNA binding activity, C 3 and C 4 levels are correlated with the clinical course of the nephritis. In fact the study of these serological parameters has a prognostic value in patients treated with methylprednisolone pulse therapy. This treatment can rapidly normalize an acute phase.
