Abstract
The triterpenic fraction of the plant Centella Asiatica (Umbelliferae) causes cicatrization and stimulates skin growth, acting on the production of collagen fibres by fibroblasis. Centelase® contains the total triterpenic fraction and is used in the treatment of certain forms of scarring (1). We report 2 cases of contact dermatitis due to Centelase cream.
