Abstract
An extensive study has been carried out on the sensitivity to chemotherapy of different mouse or rat tumours transplanted in different sites, subcutaneously, intracerebrally or intraperitoneally. The results obtained show, for instance, that 1-methyl-1-nitrosourea (MNU) has from a quantitative point of view a preferential effect on tumours implanted in the brain, while cyclophosphamide and dl-Sarcolysine were more effective on tumours implanted subcutaneously or intraperitoneally.
