Abstract

The Authors studied the presence of audiological assessments in congenital hypothyroidism. We carried out own study on 30 patients, affected by congenital hypothyroidism, and we performed tonal audiometry and tympanometry in each. The obtained data showed sensorineural hearing loss in 15 patients, conductive hearing loss in 3 patients and normal hearing in the remaining 15.
