N2 - Intracellular Calcium is likely to play a major role in the changes in cell and vascular reactivity. As a result of an excess of intracellular Sodium, Calcium mobilization from the membranes, and the subsequent excess of free intracellular Calcium, could cause depolarization of the cell or could activate the contraction process in myocytes. The close relationship between Sodium and Calcium and the link between Calcium mobilization and gestational hypertension is reported in this study.
