N2 - The main complaint of the patients after an open trigger finger release is a discomfort at the incision site. In this prospective study, we compared the two consecutive groups of patients with trigger fingers. One was treated by an open approach and the other by the endoscopic release of the A1 pulley. Pre- and post-operative evaluation at seven, 30 and 90 days showed a faster recovery from the discomfort with a faster return to daily and working activities, after the endoscopic procedure.
